Venue Guidelines Please read the venue guidelines below. Venue guidelines are subject to change until a contract is signed. We are always here to answer any questions and assist you in any way.
· A $1,000.00 security deposit is required. $600.00 will be used towards your final payment. $400.00 will be held as a deposit in case damages occur. You will receive a $400.00 refund in the mail within 2-4 weeks after your event if there are no damages. · 50% of the total estimated amount due is required two months prior to your event date. · The remainder of the balance is due 14 days prior to your event. If the remainder is not paid as required 14 days prior to your event, the event will be cancelled and all previously paid money will not be refunded. · The guaranteed guest count is due 10 days prior to your event. · Prices are subject to change until a contract is signed. Cancellation Policy You must submit your cancellation in writing. If the wedding is cancelled, you must notify Double Creek Crossing in writing. You will only be refunded half of the money paid, excluding the deposit. Property Access · Double Creek Crossing capacity is 300 guests. · On the day of your event you will have access to the venue for eight hours. This will include set up and clean up time. · Your vendors will enter the property from another entrance so this will not interfere with your guests arriving. · There will be a wedding site manager and staff member at Double Creek Crossing for your entire event. They will be responsible for overseeing: o Arrival and departure of vendors o Making sure the property is maintained appropriately for your event o Direct guests to parking and ceremony sites o Assist wedding party, guests, and vendors throughout the event o Lighting of all candles on the property (all candles must be contained by glass) Wedding Rehearsal You will be allotted a time slot for your rehearsal (schedule to be determined by Double Creek Crossing). Due to other events, this may not be able to occur on the night before the wedding. This will be scheduled two months prior to your event date. Double Creek Crossing will do everything possible to make this schedule convenient for you and your party. Decorations · Free standing decorations only are allowed inside and outside on the property of Double Creek Crossing. Candles are only permitted if contained in proper globes or cylinders. No open flames are allowed on the premises of Double Creek Crossing. · Bubbles, rice, and only real rose petals are allowed. · The following items are prohibited in decorating and may not be used on the property: nails, screws, tacks, staples, tape, glitter, confetti, birdseed, and sparklers. Smoking Rules Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area outside. There is no smoking allowed in Gabrielle’s Mansion or Alcohol beverages · Double Creek Crossing does not serve any of the alcohol. · All drinks must be served by a TABC licensed bartender that is approved by Double Creek Crossing, and you are responsible for making arrangements with the TABC licensed bartender. · The TABC licensed bartender is the only person that is allowed to bring alcohol on the property. · You are accountable for your guests’ consumption of alcohol and conduct. Please be responsible and respectful of the property. Security · All events require a security guard that will be on the premises from the start to the finish of the event at an additional fee. Double Creek Crossing will arrange for the security guard. Two security guards will be required if you have over 175 guests. Outdoor / Weather option Double Creek Crossing, the bride, and the groom will discuss alternate weather options in the event of unplanned weather the day before the event. Overtime / Damages · If any damages occur to the Double Creek Crossing property/venue due to negligence, you will not receive a refund of your $400.00 security deposit. · If your party stays later than the allotted time you will be charged $250.00 for every hour. · The following items are prohibited in decorating and may not be used on the property: nails, screws, tacks, staples, tape, glitter, confetti, birdseed, and sparklers · Cooking will not be allowed on the property. A catering prep kitchen is available for caterers. · You must inform your vendors of your allotted time slot of your event. They are responsible for cleaning up and leaving at the appropriate time or you will be charged an additional fee of $250.00. · Double Creek Crossing is not responsible for any items lost or damaged. Vendors You will receive a vendors list when signing a contract with Double Creek Crossing. Wedding Coordinator Double Creek Crossing offers a “day of” wedding coordinator for an additional fee. Other wedding coordinators or planners are welcome and Double Creek Crossing will assist them if needed. Please have your wedding coordinator contact Double Creek Crossing to discuss contact and event information. Sound System Double Creek Crossing is wired for most sound system needs. |
